Kraut: your new favorite for every occasion
Kraut is great like that. It can wear many hats. Pickle, salad, side dish, taco topper, sandwich topper they are all appealing and enjoyable ways to bring kraut into your meal.
Try kraut on your tuna melts! It's surprisingly delightful! I put it on top of the tuna right under the cheese.
One of the best things about having kraut in colder months is that it not only provides much needed vegetables to a meal but it also adds crunch, and flavor!
I love kraut added to my bowl of soup or stew. And it is the perfect digestive and packed with vitamin C to keep you healthy all winter long.
When I'm in a rush I'll heat broth and add kraut with a splash of brine.
Kimchi is a power house of options and delights. I think of kimchi as an edible fire cider or health tonic that I actually want to eat!
With fermented garlic and ginger plus lots of raw vegetables it couldn't be better for your health.
I've cured many colds with kimchi.
My favorite way is to enjoy it in a very hot cup of broth with a splash of soy sauce. It turns my cup into a spicy, tangy, warm health boost. It leaves e feeling deeply nourished and nurtured.
Also try stir frying with rice.
Start with onions a hot pan. Salute in sesame oil. Add cooked rice and stir until heated through. Add kimchi to taste. Serve with a fried egg on top and soy sauce.
